Water birds

Artificial water reservoirs often substitute biotopes for water birds. An irrigation water reservoir Teplý Vrch has been in operation since 1984. Today especially its Drienčany bay provides a suitable nesting site for many rare species of water birds, other birds come to the water looking for food or rest during their flights.

Do not disturb water birds during nesting!
