Half-dry karst valley

Half-dry karst valleys are typical of some marginal parts of karst areas, where the level of the karst water is lower than bottom of the valley. They are filled up with water only in the periods of intensive precipitation or snow melting. When the surface water flows down to the underground, blind karst valleys occur.
